Paintball has won numerous fans in Croatia and excellent "battle fields" for that high-quality fun may be found in Karlovac County as well. Paintball is equally played by both female and male players. Players are usually divided into two groups and "armed" with semi-automatic guns which shoot paintballs instead of bullets.
Admirers of this game begin to appreciate the benefits of paintball played on the slopes of Vodenica near Kupa, in the groves and on the glades around Korana and Slunjčica, near Baraćeve špilje (Barać's caves), in the valley of Mrežnica…. Paintball provides an experience of a real battlefield and yet, it is only a game. However, it is excellent for relieving physical and mental stress, which persons overloaded with work are exposed to. As such, it is also excellent for team building, i.e. development and increasing of team spirit.
All of the above is provided on Karlovac paintball fields, where players are given not only training on game given by authorised instructors, but also complete equipment: guns, overalls, protective helmets and masks. Fields contain various natural, as well as some built shelters and obstacles that make paintball more exciting, up to the last "bullet"...
Besides the paintball fields with natural shelters, Novaki Lipnički near Ribnik offer guests open playgrounds for soccer, basketball, badminton, volleyball, as well as outdoor bowling alley and a playground. Some of the player shall probably take a healing walk on wood and village roads after the "battle" in the paintball field.
There are also paintball fields in the surroundings of Slunj, for everybody who wishes to experience real adventure and good fun; they offer paintball training and in case of bad weather, the battle may take place in the hall. Beautiful surroundings of Slunj are also tempting since they offer a ride on bicycle routes, Nordic walking, but also racing on the "roads", some of which are up to 30 kilometres long, on quad vehicles, which are becoming more and more popular.
There are several paintball fields in the valley of Mrežnica near Zvečaj, as well as archery fields, where you may try shooting a bow and arrow. The magic of paintball, quad drives, archery…. and many other attractive adventures are available both to guests and tourists on Bjelolasica.
